Clinic Appointment Policies:

Late Arrivals/Missed/Cancelled Appointments

In order to provide you with individualized care based on your current needs, appointments are scheduled at intervals that provide you the level of support required to achieve optimal outcomes. Be aware that your appointment time is dedicated to you; late arrivals, late cancellations, and missed appointments impact not only your care but our ability to provide care to others. It is important for you to to attend your scheduled appointment on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late to a scheduled appointment Safe Haven Health reserves the right to reschedule. In the event you will need to cancel an appointment, please notify the office as soon as possible. We request a 24 hour notice; however, we do understand that emergencies arise. Appointments canceled 2-24 hours before the scheduled appointment will be charged a $100 Late Cancellation fee. Any cancellation less than 2 hours before the appointment will be charged $150. In the event you do not call to cancel your appointment or you call after the scheduled time of your appointment, a No Show fee of $150 will be charged. Any late cancellations or no shows will result in a hold on your account. The charges are due in full before the hold will be removed and you are able to schedule an appointment. Three late cancellations within two hours of your appointment and/or no shows will result in your termination from Safe Haven Health.

Inclement Weather Policy

Patient safety is the top priority of Safe Haven Health. If inclement weather is anticipated, the staff at Safe Haven Health will call you to reschedule your appointments as soon as possible. However, feel free to reach out to the clinic as needed.
